2SS Update #3




Howdy! I'm back for a sec just to upload the sorta demo, mostly just a really simple rough test. Yeh more like a test, because I was trying and figuring out lots of things. Live combat (opposed to rpg like turn based) y movement and layer shifting is another. but yeah some very very very VERY needed adjustments for the update. For example I updated the frame limiter so its smoother on other screens and also first time making an extensive character creator and weapon based combat, like different hit boxes for each weapon, opening containers to acquire items. I might continue work on this in the future because I had so much stuff I wanted to add but just dont have the time atm . . . ( -.- ) also had to cut alot but had to remind myself its a test/demo -ish thing not really a game.


Just alot of things I'll use in my main project. The raw code for this will be put up on my patreon when I release the update. . . OH YEAH the update is DONE! This helped me find so many downsides to my previous template that I fixed. BUT not everything from the demo is in the update.  Y movement isnt really hard and the fix for layer shifting is very simple too so id have to overhaul too much. It will be in the pro version though because from now on after the update y movement will be a staple due to it now being added to my main project.


Ok but enough yapping on my part, I gotta head out too so yeh, check this out, might be bugs so be prepared also its definitely not balanced haha didnt have the time to, sorry :(
